With Bacup Borough due to play seven fixtures in a fourteen day period in order to finish on the Leagues deadline of Saturday the 26th of April, their late Saturday Postponement (12-15pm ) away to Maine Road has added further problems to their already congested remaining fixture list.
Having been no let up at all in the Weather all week and Bacup due to Host Colne on Monday Evening 7-45 kick off, there must be a serious doubt that this game will also get the go ahead thus adding further problems to the West View outfit.
Manager Brent Peters said" There are two major factors in all this, the first is bad fixture planning which did result in three months of the season at various times, September, December, & February being away several weeks on the bounce which obviously means back to back weeks at home at a time when we are having the worst of the weather, the other major factor is just that, THE WEATHER, Peters commented but why we have to finish in April is a mystery, after all the Vodkat League do not have two weeks of play offs like other leagues do " |
